About Us
Created by two brothers, BOTH ENGINEERS, Space2Xplore is the nationally-recognized dynamic K-12 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) experience that provides space-related classroom resources, activities, and project-based education to school systems and communities abroad.
After growing up in a single-parent home in Miami, Florida, and recognizing that underprivileged minority students are significantly underrepresented in STEAM career fields in the US, ultimately making up less than a quarter of those working in those occupations, Alvin and Jelani created "Space2Xplore" to change this dynamic by providing community visibility and access for all students interested in STEAM careers.
They believe that by exposing students to knowledge, mentorship, hands-on project-based learning (particularly for space-related activities), and giving kids the “Space2Xplore” the universe around them, they can help cultivate the next generation of STEAM leaders that will solve the technological problems of the 21st Century.

We don’t believe in pushing a “one size fits all” solution and understand that it takes the right “mix” of technology Design Thinking concepts to promote growth, academic achievement, and social emotional development for students in every grade. The incorporation of our proven tailored curriculum and exposure to our deep network of experts across NASA and the commercial aerospace industry, allows creative partnering to develop and deliver innovative solutions for your students.
As a family, we champion equity and equality and seek to bridge a knowledge gap in our educational system for students interested in STEAM and space.
